kdenlive-dbg software package provides non-linear video editor (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdenlive-dbg
kdenlive-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdenlive-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdenlive-dbg *
You will get with kdenlive-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
